Sunday Ride:High Pass Boogie!! BRP Foundation Event May 11th-13th 2018

It’s BOOGIE time! How many of us use the Blue Ridge Parkway on a regular basis? How many have childhood memories on the overlooks? How many of us remember the first time on the parkway on their first motorcycle; twisting the throttle and grinning from curve to curve?? Now, how many of us know that the parkway is in need of funding to help keep the facilities open and the road free to use? Eurosport Asheville has been successfully raising funds in the past for the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, and is bringing us on board to help take their already successful fundraiser on the road this year! We will all be meeting up at Willville motorcycle campground in Meadows of Dan, VA. Given the area, there will be road routes and dual sport routes for your enjoyment. Contributions to this event will benefit the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.

Camping is included with your donation as the venue is a motorcycle-only campground. If sleeping in a tent isn’t your thing, perhaps a cabin or spot for your RV is. We have two lodging recommendations that are offering discounts to our attendees for you to check out! (other accommodations will be listed below) If staying in Willville, your spot will be reserved when you register. We will also be running shuttles between Willville and the offsite lodging facilities both Friday and Saturday evenings, so everyone can enjoy dinner and the campfire festivities to the fullest. Shuttle schedules will be available at the registration tent.

Doe Run Lodging:
Cabins, chalets, and villas accommodating 2-8 guests. Rates range anywhere from $75-239/night (most of which are $125-150/night) less discount, plus one time cleaning fee. Call them directly at (276)398-4099 to book before 4/13 and use group code “Eurosport”
Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground:
RV sites: $33-35/night less 10% discount, plus tax. Up to 4 guests per site, extra person $5/night. Rustic cabin (2 night minimum stay): $44/night less 10% discount, plus tax, max occupancy 2 adults. Motel room (2 night minimum stay): $69/night less 10% discount, plus tax, max occupancy 3 adults. Call directly (484)560-9119 to book before 4/13 and mention group code “Eurosport”

Additional RV and camping opportunities do exist closer to Willville. Please feel free to contact any of them for more information.

What about food?? We are in for quite a treat!! Tim Gettier and some of the guys from the TVR have generously offered to fire up their smokers and prepare dinner for Friday and Saturday evenings. We all know (from our first Mountain Lake Rally) that you can’t take on a full day of riding without a hearty breakfast in your furnace. On Saturday, a full breakfast will be included in your donation as well. Coffee will be provided by the Jon and Karl Show of Asheville’s own Hav-A-Cup Coffee Company both Saturday and Sunday.

Registration:
There will be three options to choose from, each with their own benefits to our participants; and each to benefit the stretch of road in which we have grown to love so much over the years.

This event would obviously not be possible without EVERYBODY (Participants, donors, foundation staff, sponsors, and volunteers). All coming together to support OUR Parkway. We would like to take a moment to point out and thank all of the companies that have stepped up and donated raffle prizes, advertising space, lodging discounts, or beverages in various forms. Please consider utilizing them for your future adventure needs. We especially want to thank Thomas and his Team at Eurosport Asheville, for allowing us to join his already successful event at giving back to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.

Last but not least, there is already a great group of volunteers supporting this, but we are going to be in need of more team members in multiple departments. If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to (info@highpassboogie.com) if you are interested in supplementing your monetary donation with a couple hours of physical philanthropy.

Registration will be open Via EVENTBRITE starting Saturday, 2/17/2018

To request more information, please contact us at info@highpassboogie.com Thank you for your support!

I will start hosting Sunday Rides again in March, weather permitting with the continued support of a Sunday Adventure Ride the First Sunday of every month and a Sunday Street Ride the Third Sunday of every month, variations might happen due to Track Days and the way the calendar falls on longer months to accommodate other fun opportunities with us here at Frontline Eurosports.

Assemble: 8:40am
Depart: 9:00am
Rally Point: Frontline Eurosports 1003 Electric Rd. Salem, VA 24153
***Don’t forget that we are doing dual sport and adventure touring riding events the first Sunday of every month. Let’s get those GS and Tiger machines dirty!!!!***

Nate’s Bike Review: 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Build: Week 2-5

Chip, GM, and Dealer Principal Hugh Huff have decided to do a Custom ’18 Triumph Bobber built by you: our customers and YouTube subscribers. We have completed the machine and wanted to share this amazing custom build with you that was done with all Triumph Accessories!!! We had a week 6 planned but unfortunately the parts are on back order and haven’t been released for the build time-frame we set. Enjoy watching the video links on the build process with me, Nate, and our Triumph Tech, Andy Postel. Thank you Chip for letting us customize a machine for the store.

Customer Corner:

The Triumph Back in Black Tour with New Unit Unveiling was a great success!!!  Thank you to those who attended

Friday night, Feb. 9th 2018, we hosted Triumph at Soaring Ridge Brewery to unveil the new 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200, Tiger 800, Bonneville Speedmaster, and the Bonneville Bobber Black in the National Back in Black Tour.  Everyone had a great time as we shared fun with the “M” theme; Motorcycles, Music, Magicians, Musclemen, and Men’s Haircuts.  Thank you to David Schultz and Nelson Oliver for providing the balloon art and walk around magic, Nic Schmitt for impressing the crowd with his heavy lift show, and Megan & Jessica for providing free men’s haircuts from sportclips.  If you missed it, I hate that for you and I bet you won’t miss the next Frontline Party!!!
